Big B lodges complaint against unknown harasser

Bollywood mega-star Amitabh Bachchan, on Friday posted on his blog page that after getting harassed by some unknown blogger for days, he has finally lodged a complaint with police and has also informed the cyber crime cell.


Apparently, this unknown person is not only posting derogatory messages on Big B’s blog but after sometime also started to sent abusive text messages on his mobile phone, which immensely disturbed the star.

Describing the unknown person’s messages in his blog, the 67-year-old actor wrote on his blog, "There is a serious effort by a member that writes and comments on this blog to use language and expression that is abusive, filthy and utterly disgusting.”

The mega-star went on to add, “I have brought this to the notice of the authorities and asked them to ensure that nothing this individual posts is allowed to appear on the platform. Any further attempt from this person will now be monitored by the cyber cell officers.”

Big B hopeful of action against perpetrator
Big B also revealed that for months he tolerated this person’s intrusion into his blog space but things have gone out of hand as this unknown person has started to sending abusive messages on his phone too.

"Further more. This individual has been sending me the most unprintable abuse on SMS on my phone. I have, after great tolerance for months, reported the matter to the police and they will be taking serious punitive action, not just in my country but in the country of the origin of these missives," said Big B, who believes that the person behind this nuisance could be a foreigner.

No formal complaint lodged by Big B?
As per Amitabh, he has lodged a complaint with police against the person harassing him online.

However, as per police officials, they are aware of the development but no formal complaint has been filed by Big B and they can take action only after filing of a formal complaint.

"We will initiate a probe into the matter once we received the complaint,” said Amitabh Gupta, additional commissioner of police.
