Kunal replaces Arjun in ‘Don 2- The Chase Continues’

The producers of the action thriller ‘Don 2-The Chase Continues’ have penciled in Kunal Kapoor, as a replacement of Arjun Rampal, to enact the role of ‘Jasjeet’.

Kunal, who is quite excited to work with Bollywood King Khan SRK, told Mumbai Mirror, “I am very excited about the role, as well as being part of a huge franchise like Don. And the fact that I get to share screen space with SRK makes it twice as exciting.”

Apparently, Arjun had quit the film due to some creative differences.

If rumors are to be believed, then Arjun had demanded a hefty amount from the producers for the role and when they refused, he decided to walk out.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani falsifies the rumors of replacement
The producer of the flick Ritesh Sidhwani falsified the rumors of replacement of Arjun Rampal. He alleged that the sequel of the film did not have the role of ‘Jasjeet’ anymore.

Ritesh even revealed about the three new characters in the film. Out of which, one will be portrayed by Kunal and other by the gorgeous lady Lara Dutta. They are still in search of cast for the third character.

Ritesh said, “Kunal hasn’t replaced Arjun in the film. There is no Jasjeet in the film. Instead we have introduced three new parts in the film and Kunal plays one of them and Lara Dutta plays the second one. We still have to cast for the third character.

From the original cast we have Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri. When did we say that Arjun was part of Don 2?”
