The diva's debut movie...

"This is the first film in Indian Cinema to release in two parts. Part II will release after three-four weeks of Part I. Both films will be released in October and will be of two hours and ten minutes each," said the filmmaker.
As per the filmmaker, it’s a record that he has not just completed the prequel but the sequel is ready too.
The film is based on real life events in the life of slain leader Paritala Ravindra (Vivek Oberoi), Maddelacheruvu Suri (played by south actor Surya) and Shatrughan Sinha enacting the role of N T Rama Rao.
Kota Srinivasa Rao and Radhika Apte are playing other important roles in the film.
"The story possesses sheer drama and content because of which it was not possible to do justice in just one go. We wanted to show rise and fall of Ravi and emergence of Suri,” revealed Verma.
’Rakta Charitra’ movie for men--RGV
RGV added that due to extent of violence quotient in the film ‘Rakta Charitra’, he would advise women and children not to watch the movie at all as it might not be to their liking.
“The women and children can stay home. This is a movie for men!,” declared Ram Gopal Verma proudly.
However, he added quickly after considering the whole thing once more, “But I honestly feel that women love violence more than men.”
The film is made in three languages, Telgu, Tamil and Hindi.
Verma expecting opposition against his film
When asked if he’s expecting any opposition or a lawsuit against his film as it is based on real life events, Verma replied that if there will be any opposition, then it will not be dealt in court.
“With the kind of people we are dealing with, there’ll be no court. They’ll just gather in hundreds with sickles and axes in their hands!” said Verma.
