Before acting, Akshay Kumar was working as a chef in Thailand and learned martial arts as well....

She also reminisced her childhood days spent in Leh, playing around with other kids during, her father’s posting there.
“My dad was in the army and was posted there. I stayed in Leh for a year and my memories of that place are tremendous,” recollected Priyanka.
"I have amazing memories of Leh. We were all army kids there. We used to race up to the top of the stupa and that too 'nange paon' (bare feet). We used to go to the market then.”
“But as I saw it on a TV channel, it is just flat ground today -it is disastrous,” added Priyanka.
The 28-year-old actress last visit to the valley was for the shooting of her film ‘Waqt-The Race Against Time'.
Priyanka urging to help people in Leh
Priyanka went on to reveal that she’s doing whatever she can to extend her support and help to people affected by the cloudburst in Leh.
She has also urged her 500,000 plus followers on Twitter to help the people of Leh.
"There are a lot of ways of sending resources, and little things such as sending old clothes from your cupboards can help. There are organizations that are getting together things and sending them in bulk. I am working with them and with the hospitals that are sending medication,” revealed the actress.
Celebrities should take out time to make world a better place
The actress, who was recently appointed as brand ambassador of UNICEF and NDTV’s environment campaign Greenathon, revealed that celebrities should do their bit in trying to make the world a better place.
"I have always been doing these things. We (film stars) take out time for endorsements, for shows, for 50 other things...why can't we take out time for this? If you want to take out time, anyone can take out time for anything and that's just what I strongly believe in,” said Priyanka.
