Earlier this ‘now ex-couple’ had always been on the news for their closeness and was noticed showing affection for each other quite openly, but now after having dated for a solid five months they have decided to call it quits.

The scuttle butt has it that Sushmita and the Pakistani pace bowler’s fondness for each other grew during a dance reality show, where they were together in panel of judges.

Though everyone at the show did notice their growing closeness, these two were not able to take their relationship to the next level, as Wasim was still a married man.

Sushmita who wanted love in her life got back with Wasim after his wife Huma passed away last year.

The former beauty, who seemed to have found new love again with the Pakistani cricketer however never confessed her relationship in public.

Yet these two were spotted in many B-town parties and also having dinner together at a fancy restaurant, where interestingly Sush’s mom was seen with them.

Earlier there were reports that both of them planned to have a live-in relationship. While Wasim agreed to settle in India, Sushmita didn’t show keen interest in moving Pakistan, which is said to have led to heated arguments regarding where they can settle.

However, the couple did work out a long-term arrangement and decided to make Dubai as their base, since Wasim’s kids are settled in Dubai.

Despite planning to take their relationship forward, surprisingly these two have now decided to end their relationship.

Insiders' claim that the end of the relationship was due to the fact that the Pakistani cricketer never liked the Bollywood glam lifestyle and also never approved of Sushmita’s growing closeness with Indian Premier League (IPL) chief Lalit Modi

It’s also believed that Sushmita was later disinclined to settle in Dubai, although she had earlier decided to leave India, and this didn’t go well with Akram.

And now with the couple having no further plans of marrying each other, their relationship was bound to end as they were not focusing on strengthening their bond.
