"Shilpa Shetty is very good in item numbers," said Salman after contemplating for a while, when a reporter asked him about Malaika’s item number in ‘Dabangg’ and if he thinks there’s anyone in the industry who can challenge her for the position of one of the best item number girls.

On the other hand, Salman’s younger brother Arbaaz Khan, who also graced the event and is married to Malaika, choose to take his wife’s side and said, “Malaika gives competition to herself.”

Salman attended the music launch in Delhi on Friday along with the cast and crew members of ‘Dabangg'.

Salman and his quirky answers
Salman, who on Friday also maintained his habit of arriving late at an event, was two and a half hour late for the music launch event.

However, once he reached the venue, as usual infused much needed energy into the event.

Salman not just thanked choreographer Farah Khan for dancing steps but went on to thank other people, who have also contributed.

"I have taken my steps from a doctor I once met in London. He had a different style of dancing, so I picked my belt step from him. There is another step which I have picked from Arbaaz. It's his all-time favorite step and again there's one which is from my make-up man Raju," said Salman.

"My steps are a mix from all these people, and yes, there is one step by Farah Khan also. Out of four steps that she gave me, I picked one," quipped Salman.

Salman’s take on moustache
Salman went on to reveal the reason for sporting a moustache for ‘Dabangg.’

He said, "I am wearing the moustache because the role demanded one. It is a thin moustache, similar to the one Shatruji keeps."
