Priyanka Chopra will only marry a Punjabi groom


Bollywood siren Priyanka Chopra has recently declared that she would prefer to tie her wed-knot with a Punjabi guy. After turning 28 recently, Priyanka has opened up for the first time about her plans to settle down in five years with a nice Punjabi boy.


Priyanka is looking for a possessive Punjabi
The truth is that Priyanka is not particular about marrying a good-looking partner, but rather favors a male chauvinistic Punjabi.

Besides, the sassy lady had also admitted that she would like her man to be possessive yet a best friend, who understands and gives her enough space, whenever it’s needed.

And to top it all, Priyanka also stated that she’s a complete drama momma, who desires to marry a guy giving solid punches to someone eyeing or looking at her.Quite a filmy checklist for a man, the girl however has no hopes that her wishlist would come true.

The actress further added, “But God normally disposes what I propose. So he may give me the exact opposite of what I am looking for.”

Priyanka visits mental institutions
After completing the shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’, now Priyanka is getting ready for her lead role in ‘Silence’, where she plays a mentally ill woman.

For her role in ‘Silence’, the actress has been visiting quite a few mental hospitals, to get under the skin of her character.

A source close to the actress has stated, “The film has already signed another leading heroine Katrina Kaif hence Priyanka was hesitant to take up the movie.

However, after going through the script, Priyanka realized the importance of her character in the film and signed it.”

“She has been preparing for the role and is planning to visit some institutions.” further added the sources.

When Priyanka was asked about ‘Silence’ she confirmed stating, "I will start shooting for Anurag Basu's 'Silence' in January 2011 after completing Don 2. I am preparing for my role. I need to undergo training to perform the role perfectly. I am happy to get such a challenging role, which many of my age do not get."
