Kareena, Shahid fail to sizzle at the Box-Office

Ex-flames, Kareena and Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Milenge Milenge’, which was positioned for a big screen treatment, has failed to strike a chord with the audiences. The film didn’t have much of a surprise for the movie goers, who came to watch the flick.

‘Milenge Milenge" opens with a poor response
‘Milenge Milenge’, had a mediocre response at the box-office after it was released last week.

Boney Kapoor’s ‘Milenge Milenge’, which landed in 1.200 screens on Friday, had a fair opening of 30 to 40 percent.

The film which was made for about 13 to 14 crores was expected to make much profit, but sadly the film didn’t create any indelible impression on the audience as the weekend figure was not impressive.

The much delayed romantic drama, which was stuck in the pipeline for a long time, proved to be a meaningless and tedious flick, which has made audiences find it irksome.

Surprisingly, even the lead star of the flick, Shahid Kapoor, gave a miss to ‘Milenge Milenge’. Shahid is said to have chosen to watch the Hollywood flick of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz ‘Knight and Day’, instead of his own film.

Sources close to the actor revealed that Shahid was not interested in the release of his film, as it had taken quite a long time to be released.

“Shahid did not promote the film either. He just did a video for the film, which didn't even have Kareena in it,” added source.

‘Milenge Milenge’ causes mental agony for a Thane computer engineer
Prakash Doke, is all set to sue the producer of ‘Milenge Milenge’ for using his cell phone number in the flick.

Doke received more than 150 calls on his cell phone in a span of four days, after the release of the film last week. He was getting calls from people asking for Kareena, as the flick had displayed his number as Kareena’s cell phone number in the film.

“The filmmakers haven’t bothered to give an explanation for using my number or even apologize for causing so much trouble. The calls haven’t stopped and everyone in my family is frustrated. I have stopped taking calls unless it is from numbers I recognize,” stated the 24 -year-old commoner.

Getting calls had affected Doke’s business of repairing and assembling computers in the past few days, and he had further revealed that this had turned out to be a mental harassment.
