Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat lip-locked nearly 17 times with her co-star Himanshu Malik...

Out of 12 trailers that Aamir had planned, two trailers with ample humour have been showcased having Raghubir Yadav and Rajpal Yadav in lead roles.
'Peepli Live' will hit the theatres on August 13. The movie has already received admiration on the festival circuit including the Berlin and Sundance Film Festival in the United States along with a nomination for a grand jury prize.
While addressing the sources, Aamir praised the debutant director Anusha for her excellent work and script.
“Not only she has written a great script, I was shocked to see how beautifully she has made the film. It’s a very complicated story with many layers and bringing it to the celluloid was a very difficult job,” said Aamir.
A unique style of promoting 'Peepli Live'
As we all know, Aamir Khan always comes up with creative ideas to promote his movies that leaves a deep impression on the minds of the audience.
The same happened with 'Peepli Live', and this time it was a prank on Aamir.
The promo shows a reporter, in Bhopal, reporting about the film for his news channel from the village Peepli standing in front of chips and biscuits stall named as 'Gajni' and 'Amir Khan'. Both the spellings are written wrong and also have Aamir's 'Ghajini' picture on them.
Then the reporter says, “Let's see whether the film becomes a hit or Aamir will live his life selling wafers, biscuits and chips of his name.”
Once the camera is switched off, the reporter pokes fun at Aamir, saying, “Bhaiya roj roj nehi banti Lagaan, pagal ho gaya hai, kuchh bhi banata hai. (Lagaan is not made everyday, Aamir has gone mad, he just makes anything).”
“It's a prank on me. It's slightly new style of promoting a film. We are hoping it stands out in terms of marketing, as the film has no stars,” told Aamir.
The promo highlights the current scenario of promoting a film even if nothing is known about it.
'Peepli Live'
The movie is written by a Delhi-based-former journalist Anusha Rizvi, and its her debut directorial venture. The film is believed to highlight the suicide story of the farmers from the past few years, especially in the north-western India.
The film is produced by actor-producer-filmmaker Aamir Khan and Aamir confirms that it is a humorous satire on the Indian urban and rural divide.
“It is a satire on the widening gap between rural and urban India. I’ve been telling the media that it doesn’t address the topic of farmer suicides but you just don’t believe me,” said Aamir.
Apart from Raghubir Yadav and Rajpal Yadav, the film casts new co-stars.
The script follows how two poor farmers suffers from the unpaid debt due to bad monsoon rains and are scared of loosing their lands. A local politician suggests them to commit suicide so that their families get compensation from the government.
'Peepli Live' is the fourth film from Aamir Khan Productions Ltd after 'Lagaan', 'Once Upon A Time In India', 'Taare Zameen Par' and 'Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na'.
