Bollywood actor-producer Aamir Khan seems to be enjoying the time in his hands. The actor, who just joined the twitter bandwagon, is slowly getting into the list of stars who tweet day in and day out.

Aamir follows Big B in twitter
Currently, Aamir is only following Amitabh Bachchan, since he was the one who inspired the actor to join the micro-blogging site, after a lot of persistence.

Interestingly, after seeing the share of followers in Aamir’s account, Amitabh posted on the actors site “Morning ! Told you of the 'madness' you would create .. barely 2 days and over 70,000 followers.. that's immense."

Aamir, who took to the micro-blogging site two days ago, started off his updating spree by using his Samsung mobile but later changed to his Android. The actor chiefly tweets about FIFA matches and Argentina, which incidentally is his favorite team and he’s supposedly desperate that the team should win.

“I can see that Germany and Brazil are playing really well, but, I want Argentina to win,” tweeted Aamir.

Aamir talks about ‘Peepli Live’
On Thursday, Aamir showcased the trailer of ‘Peepli live’ in Mumbai. The actor, who was looking excited about his home production film, gleefully clarified that the film is not just about farmers’ suicide.

“It is a satire on the widening gap between rural and urban India. I’ve been telling the media that it doesn’t address the topic of farmer suicides but you just don’t believe me,” stated Aamir.

Furthermore, the perfectionist also shared tidbits about how he got fascinated with this topic.

“It was director Anusha Rizvi. She was a journalist at that time, and approached me with this subject, which I connected with immediately. I felt, 'This is the film that I must produce,” further added the actor.

Interestingly, for his home production, Aamir didn’t take any well-known stars, as the actor revealed that the film is not about stars. However, he stated that the main star is the media.

Aamir stated, “The media plays a very important role in the film, which you will find out about after you watch the film."
