‘F.A.L.T.U’ is being directed by choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza.
The film stars newcomer Pooja Gupta and actor Angad Bedi among others and is being produced by Jackky's father Vashu Bhagnani. 'F.A.L.T.U' is slated to hit screens in December and is being shot all over in Mumbai.
Jackky Bhagnani opens up on his debut's failure and forthcoming 'F.A.L.T.U'
As his first film failed to set the Box Office jingling, Jackky feels that the main problem with his debut film was its script.
He says, “I learnt a lot from my first film. I realized that even if you perform well or the budget of the film is big, ultimately what matters most is the script.”
With all his hopes pinned on his new film, Jackky believes ‘F.A.L.T.U.’ will work with the audiences as it is closer to life characters and has a believable script. Jackky enacts the role of a boy-next-door, someone who is a rebel but in a positive way.
The film talks about the failure of today's educational system to guide our youngsters into suitable careers. The film also depicts the story of such youngsters, who do things their way and shows the world that even though they don't follow the age old methods, they can still do things in the proper way.
With a very realistic plot and with relatable characters, the film surely sounds a departure from the conventional Bollywood films.
Jackky on his struggles and his future
Jackky had won the best debut award at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), but things haven’t been much easy for him.
He says,” I had to struggle too. My first film didn't work, so now I'm working hard on my next film. My father's presence in the industry didn't guarantee success to me."
In future, Jackky is eager to move into direction or production and be a part of his father’s production house, Pooja Films. He says, "Since I'm the only child, I will take over our business eventually. I have the infrastructure, few years down the line; I will surely get into it."
