Kareena not responsible for delay in completion of “Milenge Milenge”—SK Films

The SK Films, under whose banner Boney Kapoor’s film “Milenge Milenge” is being made, said in a statement released on Friday that film’s lead actress Kareena Kapoor is not responsible for the delay in film’s completion, as suggested by some media reports.

"Though the film has been in the making for some time now, the delay has been due to certain unforeseen factors and not because of any hesitation or reluctance from the actors to complete the film," said SK Films spokesperson.

Spokesperson went on to add that, "Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor in spite of their busy schedules have completed the entire dubbing of the film in time for the release and have given appropriate time for the promotional campaign”.

The film had been under production since 2004, and when in 2007 lead pair of the film had a real life break-up, tongues started wagging that the film might not get completed as Kareena and Shahid started avoiding each other.

However, a rumor has it that film finally will be hitting the theatres on July 9, 2010.

Producer of the film 'Milenge Milenge', Boney Kapoor, too came out in defense of Kareena Kapoor and said that neither the actress nor Shahid has ever done anything intentionally to hold the shooting of the film.

He further added that “Shahid has completed his portion for the promotional music video and Kareena will be doing hers shortly as she was busy shooting in Goa”.

Currently, Kareena is also busy shooting for 'Golmaal 3' in Goa.
