Tabloids reports are claiming that the film 'Heera Mandi' is set in the background of infamous red light district in Lahore.

Interestingly, reports also suggest that Ash, Bebo and Preity were not the first choice for the film.

Initially, Sanjay wanted to cast Madhuri Dixit, Sonam Kapoor and Rani Mukherji in the main leads but later changed his mind and decided that Ash, Bebo and Preity will suit the characters much better.

However, nothing is confirmed as of now since the filmmaker has not made any official statement regarding his plans.

Sanjay will shoot 'Heera Mandi' after 'Guzaarish’s' completion
As per a source familiar with the matter, Sanjay wanted to make 'Heera Mandi' for quite some time now but the project kept getting delayed.

Later he decided to completely shelve the very idea of ever making this film and started concentrating on his other film 'Guzaarish' featuring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

However, he changed his mind once again and decided to finally go ahead with the project but only after completing the shooting of his forthcoming film 'Guzaarish'.

'Guzaarish' to be released on Wednesday?
If tabloids reports are to be believed then Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited film 'Guzaarish' will be released worldwide on Nov. 17 which comes on Wednesday.

According to a source, makers of the
film are considering to release the film on Wednesday rather than on Friday because there will be a holiday in West. So, the film will be released on the same day, nationally and internationally.

In this film, Hrithik is playing the role of a paraplegic patient while Aishwarya is playing a nurse.
