Amitabh congratulates SRK for having 400,000 Twitter followers

Bollywood’s mega-star Amitabh Bachchan, who recently joined the popular social networking site Twitter, congratulated superstar Shah Rukh Khan for 400,000 followers he has on the site.

"Congrats!! You crossed 400,000... meri gaadi thoda dheeli chal rahi hai (I'm at a slower pace at the moment)," tweeted legendary actor.

Big B, who opened his Twitter account just few days ago on the insistence of his son Abhishek Bachchan, has so far managed to get 98,228 followers.

Interesting, the 67-year-old actor is not just a regular on Twitter but also has a mobile blog, a voice blog, and a blog.

His son and daughter-in-law Ash too are Twitter regulars, leaving only his wife Jaya, who’s not on any social networking site so far.

No cold war between two biggest star of Bollywood
At regular intervals tabloids have reported that industry’s two biggest stars do not see eye to eye. However, both of them always maintained that they share cordial relations.

So when both the stars did not attempt to contact the other despite being on the same social networking site people started to believe that reports of their cold war are indeed true.

Though, SRK proved everyone wrong by taking the initiative to welcome the mega-star on Twitter.

“You are the superest duperest awaited human on the twitter world,” wrote SRK to welcome Big B.

In response to SRK’s tweet, Big B tweeted, “ShahRukh! Finally managed to get this thing right. Found you and after pressing endless buttons here I am …”

Bollywood star going Twitter crazy
In recent past Twitter has become quite a hit among Bollywood celebrities as more and more celebrities are joining the social networking site to get in touch with their fans.

Some of the biggest names that are regular on Twitter are SRK, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, Mallika Sherawat, Karan Johar, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor etc.
