Directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Rakesh Roshan, the movie 'Kites' is a blend of action, thriller and romance.

The film is expected to earn good revenue as there is no big release for the next two weeks after its release.

It seems that Aamir's '3 Idiots' will have a tough competition with Hrithik's 'Kites'. The total revenue earned by '3 Idiots' was 400 crore and 'Kites' is expected to earn more.

Many multiplexes have decided to show paid preview of movie 'Kites' on Thursday before its official release on Friday. Besides this, the movie is expected to have nearly 25-30 shows per day.

The marketing and advertising of 'Kites' is being done by Reliance Big Pictures.

Not only in Hindi, but 'Kites' will also be shown in English and Spanish and it will be released over 60 countries. This will be a great opportunity for Bollywood to expand its name and fame abroad.

In India, the movie will be released on May 21 but internationally, it will be released as 'Kites: The Remix' on May 28. The Hindi version will be of 130 minutes where as the English version will be of 90 minutes.
