"Kristen Stewart is not aboard Paani. We have just had one conversation. She still needs to read script. People are jumping to conclusions," tweeted the director to clear all the rumors that Kristen will certainly star in his new project “Paani”.

Shekhar also wrote that he’s quite impressed with Kristen’s work in her movies and if get a chance will love to work with her.

“She’s terrific and (I) love her,” added Shekhar.

However, the Hollywood actress’s representative has said that “She is not set to star in this movie.”

Hrithik confirmed for “Paani” if not Kristen
Recently, tabloids also reported that Shekhar Kapoor has signed Hrithik Roshan to star opposite Kristen Stewart in “Paani”--modern adaption of Shakespeare’s classic love story ‘Romeo and Juliet.”

But both the director and the actor are avoiding answering questions relating to the deal.

However, Hrithik’s wife Sussanne confirmed on her Twitter account that Hrithik “has signed Paani."

Shekhar dropping Hollywood names to create hype for “Paani”?
As per industry analysts, Shekhar is just trying to create hype around his yet to be made film “Paani” since before Kristin’s name came up director has hinted in his blog post that he is considering approaching Oscar winning ‘Inglourious Basterds’ actor Christopher Waltz.

"I told him (Waltz) the story and (about) the world of Paani. I told him about the character I wanted him to play. And he said he loved it. And we decided to meet to see how we can work it out," Kapoor had written in his blog.

He also stated that he has already started working on the music of “Paani” with music maestro A. R. Rahman.
