Shahrukh Khan to star in Karan Johar's comedy film


Karan Johar is known for his soulful movies and ‘My Name Is Khan’ has fetched him international fame, making him compete well with some of the best directors this side of the globe.


Adding to the genres of films he’s capable of making, Karan Johar, also known as KJo, has now decided to make a comedy film that will, of course, have his lucky mascot and dear friend, Shah Rukh Khan.

Karan, who is currently in New York ideating on the script of the new movie, says, “I will never make a film without Shah Rukh. He is the most important part of my life.”

“I have had enough of heavy-duty filmmaking for now. I want to make a fresh, funny film. In fact, I am feeling very light-hearted these days,” he adds.

Talking about the response generated by his latest venture ‘My Name is Khan’ Karan is happy to have made the film and plans to make a sequel of the movie soon.

Karan lashes out at Ram Gopal Verma
The social website Twitter has become an open battlefield for many celebrities in Bollywood and Hollywood these days, and the latest is the tweets of Karan Johar who has gone ahead and expressed views that can upset Ram Gopal Verma.

His tweet post read, “I have heard that Ram Gopal Varma has said that the scariest movie he has ever watched is (my) 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna'.”

“I haven't watched 'Phoonk' and 'Phoonk 2' but I hope 'Phoonk 3' is never made,” he went on to say.

Karan, I would like to see you direct Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan in "Some Like It Hot", about two men who flee the mob dressed as women in an all-women's orchestra.
