Bobby wraps up shoot of his first horror film ‘Help’

Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, in his bid to revive his ever fading film career, has recently wrapped-up the shoot of his first ever horror genre flick ‘Help’.

In an interview, Bobby excitedly spoke about ‘Help’ and his character in it: “The film has been beautifully shot and I must say it's one the finest horror films that the audience will see. It's chilling, gruesome and the kind of horror which gives you Goosebumps.

“HELP will take the horror genre in India to another level. My character in the film is extremely well defined and I am sure people will like the new Bobby in the film."

Interestingly, just recently, Bobby had declared in an interview that he despises horror film genre. However, Bobby seems to have realized that he cannot afford to be choosy if he wants to save his sinking film career.

Besides ‘Help’, Bobby is working on two other flicks at present: Anil Sharma’s ‘Yamala Pagla Deewana’ and Sangeet Sivan’s yet to be titled film.

Storyline of ‘Help’
‘Help’ is a film based on supernatural theme and is directed by debutante director Rajiv Virani. Mugdha Godse stars as a female lead besides Bobby Deol.

Film’s story revolves around a malevolent spirit, who refuses to move on to the other world.

In the film Bobby plays Vic, a successful horror film director in Bollywood, married to Pia (Mugdha Godse). Pia and Vic’s married life is far from pleasant, and while they are figuring out how to sort their differences, they have to rush to Mauritius to see Pia’s sick father.

Upon reaching Pia’s parental home, they encounter a vicious spirit that wants to destroy everything around it. Now Vic and Pia must find out the secret to save their and other people’s lives before the spirit kills everyone.

Bobby’s film career till date
Bobby Deol was born on January 1967 as Vijay Singh Deol and is son of yesteryear actor Dharmendra. He made his debut in the industry in 1995 with Rajkumar Santoshi’s film ‘Barsaat’ alongside Twinkle Khanna.

For his performance in the film, he also won Filmfare Best Debut Award and went on do many films but none of them got him recognition as a good actor.
