The movie that has a retro aura, is based on ‘A Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, a major Hollywood blockbuster. The duo will pay tribute to five yesteryear on-screen pairs of Bollywood.

Vipul Shah informs, “This song, which will be shot in Manali, starts in a playful manner and then goes on to salute the stylish romance that was a trademark of the 1970s.”

The vintage movie that also has Akshay performing like John Travolta is going to remind everyone of the retro era and take them back the memory lane.

Vipul Shah has signed Hollywood’s best makeup artiste Paul Pattison to give the actors their look in the movie.

A source said, “This is Akshay’s biggest release before Tees Maar Khan and director-producer Vipul Shah wants the film to touch everybody’s heart. The song is a tribute to the leading Bollywood couples of the 1970s and will highlight their romance.”

“The five couples whom Akshay and Aishwarya will pay a tribute to in the five-minute song will be Amitabh-Jaya, Dharmendra-Hema, Rishi-Neetu, Rajesh-Mumtaz and Shashi-Parveen,” added the source.

Dressed just like the legendary couples of Bollywood, the two will dance to the tunes of the song composed by Pritam.

Akshay loses jacket during song shoot
The latest from the shooting site of 'Action Replay' is that while shooting a song featuring Akki and Ash, Akshay’s jacket went missing.

The shooting could not continue as the jacket was not found and Vipul did not want the continuity to be broken. A replacement for the jacket was ordered.

Vipul Shah said, “It was a unique, hand-crafted, bling-bling leather jacket. I need to shoot the balance portions of the song but suddenly there’s no jacket. It will take time to get it made again, so I’ve requested Akshay to allot some extra dates to finish the song later.”
