Adamantly the actress is forcing herself to do her own stunts without a body double.

Deepika does scariest of stunts
Deepika escaped from suffering severe injuries after doing her own stunts in ‘Lafange Parindey’. With a lot of energy, the actress tried her hand at doing the scariest of stunts, which none of her counterparts in Bollywood have ever tried before.

In ‘Lafange Parindey’, the 24-year-old wears leather jackets, rides a bike, does daredevil stunts, jumping over walls and also somersaults.

Interestingly insiders have revealed that her co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh is having a hard time trying to match pace with her stunts.

And it was last week at Yashraj Studios that the actress unfortunately fell, although luckily managed to get out unscathed. The crew was shooting the scene where Neil and Deepika were to fall into a deep open muddy hole after a bold stride on the road.

Deepika without further thoughts decided to go ahead with the daring stunt. This this didn’t seem to sound interesting to Neil who had advised the actress to go for a body double rather than doing the risky stunts herself.

Director Pradeep Sarkar didn’t insist Deepika
Even director Pradeep Sarkar, was not keen on Deepika doing the stunts, is believed to have told her that there was a body double for doing the scene.

“Deepika turned down the offer to let the double do the stunt. Everyone in the unit thought it was too dangerous,” stated insiders who insisted that the crew didn’t want Deepika to do the stunts as her character had to walk straight into hole and vanish into the swirling muddy water.

“What’s more once in the hole she had to be fished out by divers. That’s how deep it was. She couldn’t come up and out of the hole on her own. It was much too deep,” they further added.

According to the scene, Deepika did her stunt and fell into the deep swirling muddy water, but interestingly being quite sporty helped her, as she was able hold her breath under water and later the divers rescued her from the deep wide hole.

However, when Deepika was asked about her daring stunts, she conveyed, “Yes it did happen. Who told you about this? Yes I did jump into the hole to make it look like an accidental fall. That’s what was required to make the fall look convincing. I had to do whatever it took.”
