Sanjay Dutt urges youth to stay away from drugs


Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor who launched a contest named 'The Game' by the Pepsico at Taj Lands End in Mumbai on Thursday, urged the youth of the country to stay away from drugs.


Dutt launched the campaign along with actor Ranbir Kapoor.

"I think whatever the youth of today thinks, they achieve it. The only thing I have to say to the youngsters of today is: stay away from drugs," said Sanjay, whose battle with the drug addiction is well-known in the industry.

The new Pepsi ad features Sanjay as the ‘Game Master’ and Ranbir as ‘Youngistaan.’ In the ad film Sanjay will be seen challenging Ranbir to get his Pepsi but only after solving all his riddles.

How the Pepsi ‘The Game’ will be played
The new Pepsi game challenge will be aired in five films in-between the ad breaks in the ongoing IPL tournament.

The game is set in the fantasy world of Game Master and all participants have to do is to help Ranbir conquer challenges thrown at him through their smses.

Participant who will help Ranbir win challenge will get a cash prize of Rs. 5,000,000.

"The Game by Pepsi is a rocking concept which is sure to instantly connect with the Youngistaanis. Shooting for the same was a phenomenal experience, similar to a fantasy film that I have never done before. I hope all youngsters would participate in The Game with me to show Youngistaan Ka WOW... so, let's play," said Pepsi’s brand ambassador Ranbir Kapoor.

Sanjay, known for experimenting his looks, did the same for Pepsi Game commercial. He sported a red bulky rubber suit and sport long hairs to complete his Game Master transformation.

"In my career, I have experimented with many looks, roles and characters, but playing the role of the Game Master was an ultimate WOW experience. I hope Youngistaan will enjoy the whole game experience as much as we enjoyed putting it together," said Sanjay.
