ITC’s John Players is delighted that Ranbir is the new fashion brand ambassador for their men’s apparel range.
The youth icon Ranbir who will be promoting Pepsi too has taken over the endorsements of the two brands from leading superstars Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
Ranbir: the new style icon
Ranbir who is overtly excited that he grabbed the opportunity, stated, “It is a pleasure to be associated with John Players, a strong brand in its segment that understands existing and emerging needs of the fashion conscious youth of today. Moreover, it is wonderful to associate yourself to a brand with whom you are able to relate to.

Yesterday at the launch of the ad campaign of John Players, Ranbir stated, “As fashion is growing, we see lot of young population getting trendy and fashion conscious and there is an emerging need to provide youth centric clothes, both formal and casual.”
Responding to the question about the ad campaign, Ranbir conveyed that he had fun shooting the John Players spring summer 2010 ad campaign.
Eagerly awaiting the release of the ad campaign, he also said how curious he was about people’s reactions after watching the campaign.
He added, “Going forward, I hope to contribute in my own little way to the brand persona and styling.”
However, speaking on this occasion ITC's divisional Chief Executive Atul Chand stated, “With Ranbir, we plan to strengthen John Players’ connect with the youth and the foundation has been laid today with the launch of new brand logo.”
The evolution of this brand was instigated to keep up with the varying attitudes of the consumer and the brand is particularly happy that Ranbir is the “New Face of Cool” for John Players.
Atul also conveyed, “Ranbir is unveiling the new John Players’ Spring Summer Collection 2010 in person which also marks his commitment for the brand.”
