SRK's three-fold prescription
On Tuesday, at the 'FICCI FRAMES-2010’ inaugural session, King Khan presented the three-fold prescription for globalization of Bollywood movies.

He affirmed that film makers must get skilled at the creative phases of screenplay writing techniques, high-end visual effects and replicate the hands on approach and discipline that goes into Hollywood movie making.

The thespian also made it a point at the forum, to tell Indian filmmakers that they shouldn’t lose the excellent touch of our stories.

As he stated, “However, learning Hollywood screenplay and technology is not about losing the intrinsic quality of our stories. We must maintain our own cinematic individuality.”

The actor also believes that the now shaping associations with Hollywood could help out the Indian film industry to advance its seemingly different story format – the musical-drama format that can "make us travel around the world".

Emphasizing on his point of view, Shahrukh conveyed that sooner Indian filmmakers understand that screenplay is not just an art but a science, there would be globalization of the Indian movies and Hollywood will exchange the expertise with India.

We need to develop people who can make us our own cheaper, better and faster software’s for filmmaking and have a special branch of trained visual effect teams and talent here.”

SRK: Hollywood knowledge could help Bollywood
Accentuating on the professionalism and discipline, Shahrukh expounded that the Indian Industry has to switch over to cultivate the Hollywood’s discipline and organization of doing business.

He added, “This organization already exists in other Indian businesses, but is woefully lacking in the business of films." This organization also needs to filter down to the film distribution systems based on their models and learn the science of marketing films.”

Moreover, Shahrukh pointed out on the expertise that Hollywood can transport to Bollywood is indispensable than the high investments of building in India.

Shahrukh summed up his speech by stating, “The time has come for having a symbiotic relationship where we can both feed off the knowledge that we have instead of just the movies. The economics will follow. Then, Bollywood and Hollywood together can have a global audience watching our movies.”
