The macho man of B-Town, actor Salman Khan had a harrowing experience at a shoot recently, which landed him in the hospital.

Salman Khan was hospitalized due to smoke congestion while shooting for brother Arbaaz Khan’s debut home production ‘Dabbang’ in Satara district, Maharashtra.

Reportedly, during the shooting of a sequence that required the handsome Khan to run through fire but the actor complained of feeling breathless and was rushed to the hospital immediately.

A source informs, “Salman wanted the scene to be flawless and ended up getting breathless since he was shooting close to so much fire. He had to be rushed to the hospital after the scene was successfully canned.”

Doctors advise Salman to quit smoking
The buzz is that Salman Khan was not well even prior to the incident and had been advised by doctors to take some rest but he paid no heed to their advice and commenced shooting for his brother’s movie.

According to the ECG report of the actor, the real cause of the chest pain that caused Salman’s breathlessness is not the fire but his smoking addiction.

So the doctors have warned Salman to stop smoking and adopt a healthy lifestyle.

The actor called Sallubhai by fans, tried to quit smoking during shooting of his last film ‘Veer’ but failed. We hope he now pays heed to the doctor’s advice.
