Bollywood’s elite come out for Shahid’s Birthday Bash

Shahid turned 29 with some help from Bollywood, as he celebrated his birthday Wednesday night in the company of family, friends, costars and directors.

The surprise birthday bash was hosted by director Siddhartha Malhotra at a Bandra club.

An elated Shahid was seen having the time of his life at the bash.

Also in attendance were director Imtiaz Ali, Ken Ghosh, actress Genelia D’Souza, Amrita Rao, Vishal Malhotra, Mohammed, Lucky Morani, Neha Uberoi, Parmeet Sethi, Archana Puran Singh and Pritam.

His dad Pankaj Kapoor, step-mom Supriya Pathak, step-siblings Rohan and Sana were also there to wish their half-brother; while his Mom Neelima Azim and his younger step-brother Ishaan came in later.

Birthday Bash went out of hand
However the party had gone out of hand for some, as according to reports, police had arrived at the early hours of Thursday at Esco Bar in Bandra.

They warned the manager of the nightspot for breaking the rules of continuing the party beyond the allowable time of 1.30 am.

The manager was asked to pay the fine of Rs 5,000 for violating the norms of not following the legal time.

Responding to the question about the raid at the bash, the senior inspector of Bandra police station, Prakash George stated, “Kapoor’s birthday party was celebrated in Esco bar and restaurant in Bandra (West). While our patrolling van was passing from there, we saw many press vehicles near the restaurant.

We got suspicious. When our officer entered the restaurant, he found the party was on.”

Shahid loves to face challenges
Shahid, who single handedly made it big with his persistent urge to succeed without anybody’s help, is currently one of the most sought after actors in Bollywood.

This inspiring actor was appreciated for his commendable work in films like 'Ishk Vishk', 'Vivah', 'Jab Me Met' and 'Kaminey'.

However he is far from gloating about his awesome achievements; and it is this distinct attitude that makes him one of the most likeable stars in Bolywood.

The actor who has completed all his assignments only has his father’s project at the moment.

Responding to the question about his dad’s Home project ‘Mausam’, Shahid stated, “While I'm being directed by my dad, I'd like to learn in every department. I want to learn about cinematography, choreography and direction. Most of all, I'd learn a lot about acting from my dad. I want to try and absorb from him.”
