This happened despite the fact that MNIK’s collections dropped below 40 percent over the weekend, especially in single-screen theatres. The films collections were effected due to Shiv Sena’s protests also.

“MNIK has exceeded trade expectations and is doing a brisk business worldwide,” said Taran Adarsh, a film trade analyst.

The SRK movie so far has successfully managed to generate 60 percent of revenue in India while international market contributed 40 percent.

The distributor of MNIK has managed to earn around 35 crores till now. Riding high on film’s overseas success, the distributors are planning to release it in other international centers like Bahrain, Omar, Qatar, Kuwait and Egypt.

MNIK’s success making SRK arrogant?
Reportedly, ever since the phenomenal success of SRK’s MNIK his mobile is choked with over 1,500 messages from fans and friends alike.

But the superstar is having trouble replying to all the messages by his well-wishers. Some people even started suggesting that his successful handling of Shiv Sena and film’s success has gone to his head.

However, SRK has clarified in a statement that his cellphone has been troubling him for some time now and he will take it to repair as soon as he will get time.

Presently SRK is basking in the outstanding success of his latest film ‘My Name Is Khan’ on national and international front but that hardly translates into SRK celebrating the success of film with parties.

Rather, the iconic actor is busy devoting all his attention to his kids Aryan and Suhana’s studies, as their exams are coming.

“No I am not partying with Karan. Kids have exams thus have to study with kids,” said SRK.
