Kareena and Shahid were seen happily chatting together at Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow, Mannat, where Shahrukh had hosted a party to celebrate the success of ‘My Name Is Khan’.

Last year, Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ceased their incredibly cold war by mending their differences at Karan Johar’s birthday bash, both the stars patched up with a hug.

Following their footsteps this year was Kareena and Shahid who showed up at SRK’s MNIK bash last week.

And it was Karan Johar who spoke to Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor as peacemaker and tried to conciliate their earlier irreconcilable differences.

The two year feud
For more than two years these two stars, Kareena and Shahid Kapoor, had refused to acknowledge each other, so much so that they used to look through each other when they had to cross paths.

According to grapevine doing the rounds now, these two stars are said to have just made some polite conversation and seemed cordial to each other.

Sources at Shahrukh’s bash conveyed that it was Karan Johar who appeased Shahid and Kareena to strike up a conversation.

Responding to their patch up, sources stated “Shahid and Kareena came face to face and everyone thought they would simply ignore each other like they have on so many occasions in the past.

But this time, Karan happened to be present right there and instead of marching past each other, they slowed down for a bit. And the rest, as they say, is history.”

The pair which split two years ago after being in a four year of relationship didn’t have a hard time in making a conversation.

The two actors left behind their past bitterness, spoke for quite sometime until Saif entered the bash, who also joined both of them.

Sources also added, “Shahid and Kareena have finally decided to leave their acrimonious past behind them. This was very evident in the manner all three of them - Shahid, Kareena and Saif - interacted with each other at Shah Rukh’s party.”
