What is the sweetest act a woman can do? Well, the answer is evident by Aishwaryas’s latest deed. She, along with hubby Abhishek, made a hush-hush visit to ‘nani’, Indrani Bhaduri on her 80th birthday. In spite of being unwell, she fulfilled her promise made to her granny.

Aishwarya, who was in Bhopal, kept a very low profile throughout.

"Aishwarya is much much better, but still not 100 percent (fine). But she's my nani's favourite so she made the trip too. Should be back to fighting fit... in a day or two," Abhishek wrote on Twitter.

The sweet promise
Soon after landing at the Raja Bhoj Airport, the couple drove straight to the residence of Abhishek’s grandmother.

The moment nani rested her eyes on both of them, the expression on her face was priceless, said Abhishek.

Meanwhile at granny’s place, they also made a point to go to Vaishali Nagar and meet Abhishek’s aunt Rita Bhaduri and her husband, Rajiv Verma.

A family get-together
Other relatives and cousins poured in to fill up their roles and celebrate with Ash-Abhi.

Ash seemed to have made everybody happy along with her nani-in-law. Talking about their nani, she turned out to be a matriarch, taking care of everybody. After all, what else could be the best birthday gift than having the whole brood together!

Abhishek’s sister Shweta Nanda was also seen along with her own family.

“All her grandchildren flew in from all over. My sister, our cousins all meeting after so long. Now everyone partaking in an old Indian habit, all sitting together... Eating, drinking and catching up,” Abhishek said.
