With her soaring body temperature and coughing, Aishwarya is now reportedly taking complete bed rest as advised by her doctors.

During her shoot, Aishwarya had popped in some antibiotics to get some relief from her high fever and throat infection, but unfortunately this turned out to be harmful for her since her lips swelled up due to some kind of pill allergy.

However, this didn’t stop her from shooting the important sequence for Vipul Shah’s ‘Action Replay’. Aishwarya is said to have continued working despite swollen lips.

Aishwarya, who was shooting in Manori in northern Mumbai returned home with high fever, and was immediately attended to by doctors.

Amitabh Bachchan, who is trying to nurse her back to health with wife Jaya, even wrote about her condition in his blog recently.

His latest post in his bigb.bigadda.com blog states that, “Aishwarya has come back from the shoot in pain and distress. Doctors called, investigation done and medication registered to settle issues down, but it persists.”

Shedding some more light on her condition, he also wrote, "There is high fever and an infection in the throat, cannot talk, cannot swallow. Sad and so concerned to see her in such a condition. Abhishek has been summoned from his shoot as Jaya and I attend to her.”

Sadly, husband Abhishek seems to be caught between his personal and professional duties; concerned though he was that his wife was sick, after attending to her he was forced to rush back for his scheduled shooting.

But not before tweeting about it to his fans, “The morning was spent with a rather unwell wife. But, work calls so off (to) the shoot for ‘Crooked’.
