BJP members watch ‘My Name Is Khan’
New Delhi, February 6 -- Members of BJP took time out of their schedules to watch the special screening of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming flick ‘My Name Is Khan’ in New Delhi, Friday evening.

New Delhi, February 6 -- Members of BJP took time out of their schedules to watch the special screening of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming flick ‘My Name Is Khan’ in New Delhi, Friday evening.

SRK and his latest flick lately became Shiv Sena’s prime target when SRK spoke in support of Pakistani players (after they were left out of the IPL auctio).

SRK’s sympathy towards Pak players triggered Shiv Sena’s anger. They not only tore down his film’s posters but also threatened that they won’t allow the release of ‘My Name Is Khan’ in Mumbai.

Ironically, the members of Shiv Sena’s principal ally, BJP, enjoyed SRK’s latest movie.

Former cricketer and BJP leader Chetan Chauhan said, "Politics and films should be kept separate. It's an unnecessary controversy. There is no need for all this."

Bollywood supports SRK’s stand
After fighting a lone battle against Shiv Sena, finally, SRK’s Bollywood fellows like Abhishek Bachchan, Salman Khan and Nana Patekar, have come out in his support.

Nana Patekar, who himself is Maharashtrian, blamed the government and society for letting Shiv Sena run free.

“Marathi manoos was never scared. We're never against anyone. I never felt scared. The government and the society are to be blamed for whatever is happening in Mumbai today," said Patekar.

"We should not mix cricket and politics. It's not about Shah Rukh, Salman Khan or Aamir's film. It's everyone's film, it's country's film. We actors never go out and say don't vote for this party or don't vote for that party," said Salman.

Shiv Sena not to bother SRK anymore?
According to latest reports, after facing opposition for harassing SRK from all corners, Shiv Sena has decided not to move forward with their plan to disrupt the release of ‘My Name Is Khan.’

Reportedly, in an editorial published in ‘Saamna’ on Saturday, Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray made it clear that his party has no intention to oppose the release of ‘My Name is Khan.’

"Shah Rukh Khan is a traitor but we will not oppose his film," said Thackeray.

Watch My Name Is Khan

My God, what's this country coming to ? It seems the only thing politicians are worried about are movies, cricket and disrupting the common man's means of entertainment ! Ofcourse rest of the time, they have more important work to do like changing names of cities and streets. What about poverty, population, economy, etc? Not very important I guess. Anyways with all the riots going around, I will not venture to theatre cinema, I will watch My Name Is Khan Online
