Rahman bagged two gramophones for his music brilliance in Danny Boyle’s film ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’
The ‘Mozart of Madras’ had also became the first Indian to win two Oscars for his super-hit song ‘Jai Ho’ in the ‘Best Original Music Score’ and ‘Best Original Song’ category for ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’
Even Marathi movie "Harishchandrachi Factory", India's official entry at the 2010 Oscars, (in the ‘Foreign Film’ category), has been voted out last month.
