Fashion trends, fiascos at Grammy Awards 2010

Los Angeles, CA., February 1 -- The 52nd Grammy Awards, which kicked off on Sunday night at Los Angeles, saw some great fashion trends at the red carpet.

The parade was trendier, funkier and more flamboyant, where new breeds of pop artists were dressed to impress.

Grammys turned out to be a no-holds-barred function where everyone did their best to outshine other.

Best dressed artists at Grammys
Lady Gaga was seen wearing a silver dress that resembled shape of a planet. Her dress was designed by famous Italian designer Armani. The Grammy winner has a penchant showing up in weird looking dresses at almost every function she attends.

Other than her, Lea Michele shone in a beautifully designed black feathered ensemble.

Victoria Secret model Marissa Miller, was dressed polar opposite of Lea. She wore a white short mini, showing off her figure and tanned body.

Another Victoria Secret model and Project Runaway host Heidi Klum turned up in short dress with plunging neckline. Artist Keri Hilson showed up in a nude-colored, mermaid style gown, which looked stylish and classy.

Treading the fine line
Others at the Grammys included Beyonce and Taylor Swift, who were dressed fantastically.

Costume designer Jen Rade, who styled Pink for Grammys appeared as a fashion commentator on the TV Guide network.

She said, "The Grammys is an opportunity to wear runway looks that are so funky that they probably won't ever get produced."

Others whose dressing could hardly be called stylishly unique were singer Kate Perry and boyfriend Russell Brand.

Kate was seen wearing a flesh-colored gown embellished with gold flowers. It made her look strange with Brand, who looked equally disastrous.

why can't musicians be classy?

It is uncool for a singer to grab their private parts on stage. Or grind or wear way to little clothing. It is offensive!!!!! and PLEASE refrain from vulgar language!!! And think about who you may be degrading/insulting with your words. Be a ROLE MODEL FOR THE NATION. Think of the children who you are affecting...instead of how much money and attention you can get!!!!!!!
