Emulate Amitabh Bachchan, Shiv Sena tells Shah Rukh

Mumbai, January 31 -- Recently, actor Shah Rukh Khan was told to follow the foot steps of Bollywood’s legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan by the Shiv Sena chief Bala Sahab Thackeray.

Shah Rukh, co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, an Indian Premier league Twenty20 team, had stimulated this flow of bile from the Shiv Sena for taking up the issue of excluding Pakistani cricketers in the IPL-3 auction.

Shiv Sena verbally assaults King Khan
Shah Rukh regretted the idea of their exclusion, and said that IPL should have given Pakistan the opportunity to participate.

However, the actor came under heavy disapproval from Sena’s MP Sanjay Raut for his viewpoint. And following Raut’s statement, Sena supporters went berserk, tearing the posters of Mr. Khan’s forthcoming film, My Name is Khan.

Raut shares Bal Thackeray’s respect for Bachchan
Raut, who shares Chief Bala Sahab Thackeray’s views on appreciating Amitabh Bachchan, said, "Amitabh Bachchan had declined to accept the award of Brisbane University because it was the nation's sentiment in the wake of unending violence against Indian students in Australia. People should learn something."

Bal Thackeray's opinion was even conveyed through an article in his party's mouthpiece "Saamna."

It is clearly mentioned that in 2009 Amitabh Bachhan refused to accept an honorary doctorate being conferred by Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane as a mark of protest against the attacks on members of the Indian community.

Likewise, the Sena now feels that Shah Rukh should also stop criticizing unbiased team selection and stop being vocal about the non-selection of Pakistani players, since according to the Sena, it was a decision that the whole nation supported.
