Before becoming a Bollywood biggie, Aishwarya Rai's voice was rejected in an audition for voice...

The law suit was reportedly filed by Gurgaon-based author, Pavan Chaudhary seeking a lasting ban against the screening of the recently released epic film, “Veer”, in reparation for allegedly using the concept of his book “Trilogy of Wisdom”.
The author submitted in his petition that he had earlier sent a legal notice to the film’s makers for stealing ideas and using his concepts, but decidedly took the massive legal leap after the makers went ahead with the release of the film.
Salman a respondent in the case
Other than the makers of the film, actor Salman Khan has also been served a notice as a respondent in the suit in view of the fact that it was Salman who had written the script apart from being the hero of the film.
Justice V. K. Shali, who will be hearing the case, has asked the three respondents to file replies to the law suit by Feb. 4.
Pavan Chaudhary’s accusation
Author and plaintiff Pavan Choudhary has alleged that the respondents have ripped-off ideas such as “India should not be a ‘sone ki chidiya’ but a ‘baaz’ from his book, making it an indisputable case of copyright infringement.
The plaintiff, who has widely publicized his concept of ideas on television, radio, newspapers, magazines and periodicals, has legally staked claim of the concepts as he feels that he is rightfully the original author, first owner, true creator and lawful proprietor of the ideas mentioned in “Safalta ki Triveni: Chanakya Ka Rajnitik Gyan”, a Hindi translated version of the “Trilogy of Wisdom”.
And in corroboration of this claim, the plaintiff’s advocates who filed the petition stated that “The producer, the director, and the story writer are well aware of his extraordinary and remarkable reputation and are also well aware that use of idea and concept that India should not be a Sone Ki Chidiya but Baaz in the film are violative of intellectual property rights.”
