When debutants left Big B embarrassed

Mumbai, January 16 -- Now, this one is about the big Hollywood and Bollywood merger project called "Teen Patti" starring the legendary actor Ben Kingsley with Big B.

Senior Bachchan is working with novices Shraddha Kapoor, Siddharth Kher, Dhruv Ganesh and Vaibhav Talwar in this movie and seems to be pretty taken aback by their hard work and punctuality.

He said that even when he was not aware of his dialogues, the newcomers used to arrive on the sets, ready to mouth their lines. He was also amazed at the same level of eagerness shown by his fellow superstar Sir Ben Kingsley in the movie.

He also remarked that he was proud about working with such talented newcomers in this film. He wished them best of luck for their future. Since these people were appearing in their first movie, Bachchan was inspired by their grit and efforts. These newbies did rehearsals for months to get the hang of their characters.

So, after the shooting when Bachchan would go into his hotel room , he used to practice his dialogues well, so as to not look like a novice in front of the these debutante professionals.

The film has been directed by Leena Yadav whose first venture in Bollywood "Shabd" starring Aishwarya Rai and Sanjay Dutt is not remembered by anyone at all.

In this movie, Amitabh plays a talented mathematics professor who devises a probability theory that can work on cards too. His findings are not accepted by his seniors, but upon encouragement by a junior professor, Madhavan, he decides to try his luck in a casino with his findings.

Whether he wins or loses, is revealed by the movie. Now, this movie seems to have been inspired by Hollywood casino flicks. It might sound clichéd but this movie is a tale of unknown avarice and deception.

Shabd is fabulous

Just because filmypandit doesn't remember a film doesn't mean that nobody remembers it. Leena Yadav's impressive Shabd is one of my absolute favourite movies. Don't miss (or forget) it. :)
