3 Idiots, which has been watched by more than 60 million people so far, has collected over Rs 260 crores in the box office. It beat Aamir Khan starrer, ‘Ghajini’, which was the highest grosser until now.

The film is also being considered as the highest earned Indian film ever to release in US, Middle East, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Kenya and Fiji.

Much to everyone’s surprise the movie has also clutched a top ranking position to become one of the top 10 films at the British Box Office. It is also marked as the highest box office grosser of 2009.

Paid previews of the movie alone have collected over Rs 9 crore globally. The paid preview collections of "Ghajini" were Rs 7 crore worldwide.
