Mumbai, November 15-- Bollywood’s most in love couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are currently busy promoting their film Kurbaan, which is slated for release on the 20th of this month.
Taking a break from their schedules, the star couple recently spoke to CNN-IBN about their reaction to the controversy and much more.
Seen enjoying quality time together promoting their flick, the couple obliged shutterbugs posing together, while Saif did most of the talking.
Describing the film Kurbaan to the audiences present as a thriller and a love story, Saif also said that "It is a serious movie."
However, the much-hyped steamy scene between the lead couple Saif and Kareena Kapoor has earned it an “A” certificate from the Censor Board. And when the media questioned Saif about his view on the A certificate, the actor was quick to comment that he’s fine with the censorship.
After talking at length on the various aspects of the film, Saif Ali khan chose to take a break from the movie to celebrate Sachin Tendulkar’s genius on the cricket field. Commenting on a lighter note on Sachin’s marathon twenty years of playing for the nation, the actor said, "I remember Sachin as a lad...Happy Birthday, what do I say?"
Kurbaan, thanks to the incessant promotions, has managed to attract a lot of hype and hoopla. However, it is quite interesting to note that it has even garnered interest from the Shiv Sena.
Bollywood now being persistently bombarded by their views and opinions, Shiv Sena has chosen to react differently on the promotional posters by sending Kareena a sari for her daring bare-back Kurbaan shot. Quick in reciprocating, Kareena, who hasn’t yet received the unsolicited gift, is said to have insisted that it better be a good one and, "I hope I like the color of the sari."
