Bollywood’s most popular actor of the 70’s Rajesh Khanna, has always been accepted as the only actor known to have benefited greatly from the stardom of his times. The legendary actor, once called as the king of romance, has once again hit the headlines for accepting Bigg Boss against his daamaad Akshay Kumar’s preference.

Akshay is said to be furious over the reports of his pa-in-law’s assumed participation in Bigg Boss 3 after the early dismissal of contentious Kamaal Rashid Khan from the show. Rajesh Khanna has reportedly already crossed the threshold to the Bigg Boss house.

The 70’s actor is now creating waves by openly showing his difference of opinion with his son-in-law Akshay Kumar. The cold war between the two has taken a major turn for the worse not only due to Rajesh khanna’s participation in Bigg boss but for the differences in view of the fact that Rajesh khanna refused to sell his bungalow to his son-in-law.

Akshay is said to be terribly upset by his pa-in-law’s penchant for Bigg boss 3, which can only serve to make his life public. Add to this his earlier disappointment spurred on by his pa-in-law’s downright refusal to sell Akshay his multi-crore bungalow ‘Aashirwad’ on Carter Road, Mumbai, and it can only be said that Khanna’s inclination towards Bigg Boss 3 is only widening the crevice between the two.

Apparently, the 70s hero is believed to have always been open of his pursuit for finer things and public attention. Rajesh Khanna supposedly is a great fan of Mujras and had once actually returned home in the early hours of the morning after offering the singer his watch and a silver kada given to him by Dimple Kapadia. Come breakfast time and Rajesh Khanna was said to have been completely paranoid of Dimple finding out he was missing personal items!

The mounting temperatures between Akshay and Rajesh khanna still remain, but the action hero does share a good rapport with his mom-in-law Dimple Kapadia. The news is doing the rounds that they are going to play mother and son in Nikhil Advani's film Patiala House.
