Rani Mukherjee has confessed that she shares a very special bond with Aditya, and it was he who recognized her acting potential.

The dusky actress confirms, “I have a very special relationship with Adi. He's a person who I absolutely admire and respect. He always had faith in me since the beginning.”

“He was the one who spotted me in ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat’ and recommended me to Karan (Johar) for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He and Shah Rukh were instrumental in changing Karan's mind about me,” she continues.

It may be noted that Rani has long been called a Yash Raj heroine as she has done 12 movies with the production house and has somehow lost out on others.

But Rani negates this and calls it a mere coincidence. On working with only one banner, this is what she has to say, “Coincidentally, all the roles I've done in the recent past have come from the same banner. I would've done those films had anyone else offered them to me too. Of course, I have a comfort factor with Yash Raj. I've done 12 films with them.”

Talking about her current status, the actress feels that she is going through a very good phase in her personal and professional life and is enjoying with family and friends.

Rani talks about her marriage plans
Annoyed by the media’s repeated take on her marriage, Rani assures that she does not have any marriage plans as of now but she will make an official announcement about it whenever she decides to marry.

“It's ridiculous to think that I'm the kind of person who'd want to hide her marriage. I don't come from a family like that. Just because I am an actress, I don't have to hide my marriage,” says the bubbly actor.

Well, we sure hope that Rani gets the perfect groom when she finally decides to tie the knot. And as for her relation with Adi, only she or Adi can tell.
