The most popular singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ is back in its new ‘Avatar’ Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar.

This time Purab Kohli will host the show.

‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ has completed its fifteen years with one thousands episodes. So, this time competition will be really tough.

The top eighteen singing stars were selected in the mega auditions by the mentors- Sajid-Wajid, Daler Mehandi and Vishal-Shekhar.

Auditions have been concluded and the top 18 selected ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ singing stars are waiting to get their ‘Gharanas.’

In its last episode, nine contestants gave their performances and got their ‘Gurus’ and ‘Gharanas.’

The wonderful evening began in full mood. Mentors were keen to select their teams. As all the contestants are good, it would be really difficult for the mentors to choose singers for their team.

Performances were brilliant and the whole atmosphere was joyous. Contestants were eager to perform on the stage of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’.

The nine participants were divided in three groups. After the performance of each group, mentors selected one singer from each group of their team.

After the performance of Abhishek, the mentors Vishal-Shekhar also sang the song with him ‘Dil Haara.’ It was a mixture of beautiful singing and expressions which fled the mentors in a new world.

Another performance which got the title ‘Performance of the Day’ was Sniti’s performance and it was given by mentors Sajid-Wajid.

Khurram Iqbal gave a romantic and subtle performance on ‘Bin Tere’. As it was his birthday, he requested Shekhar to sing the song for him.

‘Chupke Chupke Raat Din’ was again a superb performance by Kamal.

Vishal- Shekhar selected Abhishek Mukherjee, Kamal Khan and Madhura Kumbhar.

Ranjeet Rajwada, Sniti Mishra and Tajinder Singh Ahuja were chosen by mentor Daler Mehandi.

Sajid-Wajid got Altamash Faridi, Shreyasi Chakraborty and Khurram Iqbal for their respective teams.
