It’s like dream come true for the top three finalists of the Indian Idol 5 to get the opportunity to sing duet songs with the singing maestros- Sunidhi Chauhan, Udit Naraynan, Shaan and Usha Uttam.

For the music lovers it was a weeklong musical treat.

These performances by the finalists would also help the audience to choose their next Indian idol.

These performances were amazing as usual. The singing superstars performed with the finalists. This was done to risen the confidence and to lessen the stress which was seen earlier in their singing.
Contestants were very enthusiastic and happy to perform with the singing legends and singing the songs sung by them.

The judge Sunidhi Chauhan sang songs with the three finalists that gave boost to the contestants’ confidence and improvement in their performances. Bhoomi, Sreeram and Rakesh were as good as any playback singer. Their voice quality and the level of singing were appreciable and commendable.

Finalists sang two duet songs with Sunidhi Chauhan.
Generation next star Bhoomi sang ‘Mehboob Mere’ from ‘Fiza’ and ‘Tauba Tauba’ from ‘Kaal’. Both of her performances were of her own genre and it was fantastic to see two beautiful singers performing together on the Indian Idol 5 stage.

Sreeram rocked on ‘Mere Haath Mein’ from ‘Fanna’ and ‘Saiyyan Padu Baiyyan’. His performances as usual were great. He maintained the level in both songs. It was actual duet performance. It was felt that some recording was going on.

Rocking and romantic singer Rakesh gave lovely performances on ‘Hey Shona’ and ‘Soniye’. His performances were wonderful and were liked by everyone. His singing was passionate and smooth. After his performance, judges gave him Rockesh as his new name.

Finalists have given their best. Now its audience turn to choose best.
