Indian officials have launched an investigation into Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan over reports he knows he and his wife are having a baby boy, in a country where pre-natal sex tests are illegal.
Tabloids are abuzz that though ‘Ready’ doesn't match the ‘Dabangg’ standards, it has has opened to a full house and managed to gross Rs13. 15 crores on the very first day, thanks to the lead star Salman Khan.
Talking about the film, trade analyst, Amod Mehra said, “Wanted, followed by Dabangg, has helped Ready open to full houses.”
When asked why ‘Ready’ didn’t rock as ‘Dabangg’, Mehra stated, “The story is typically South Indian cinema. And it’s hard for audiences in the Hindi belt to accept cousins getting married. For us such a union is incestuous.”
Well, reports claimed that SRK was organizing a birthday bash for his foreigner friend at his residence Mannat on April 16, but when Akon said that he wanted to spend his birthday with friends and fans, the B-town superstar backtracked.
In a conversation with Mid-day, a source said, “Since the singer wanted fans in attendance as well it was obvious the party wouldn't happen at SRK's residence”.
Well, not only the moviemakers, but also the B-town hotties seem to be more inclined to do item tracks, as after Malaika and Katrina, it’s the ‘Hisss’ bombshell Mallika Sherawat, who is gearing up to set the screens on fire with the hot item song ‘Jalebi Bai'.
The song is from filmmaker Indra Kumar’s forthcoming movie ‘Double Dhamaal’ and item girl Mallika will be seen donning a ghagra and pint-size choli in it.
For the shooting of the song, a splendid Casino was set up at the Mehboob Studios in Mumbai.
Interestingly, the moment Mallika Sherawat heard the raunchy track, 'Razia Gundo Mein Phans Gayee', she immediately said “yes”.
The directors of the film had selected Katrina as the female lead. After everything got finalized, Kat dumped the directors of the flick, with whom she had worked earlier in ‘Race.'
Insiders have revealed that Ben Stiller and Anil Kapoor are gearing up to start a production company together; they are also reportedly planning to launch a joint production firm.
