Shahrukh, Hema Malini to clash this Diwali

Reportedly, when Shahrukh’s ‘Ra.One’ apparently has all ingredients to captivate moviegoers this Diwali, the charismatic actress cum filmmaker Hema Malini seems to be least bothered about taking a chance by releasing her film ‘Tell Me O Khuda’ at the same time.

When approached for the verification of reports, Hema, as quoted in TOI, said, "We had a meeting with the distributors and exhibitors, on Friday, and we all decided to go for a Diwali release.

Recently, at the launch of an eponymous book on marketing, co-authored by Arindam Chaudhuri and his wife Rajita, Shahrukh, talking about his upcoming film ‘Ra.One’, stated that he is making the biggest film of India.

Apparently, the superstar has invested around Rs. 150 crore in making his pet project.

SRK, as quoted in IANS, said, "I am making the biggest film this country has ever made ('RA.One') and I will be proud even if it flops and does not succeed because I want to change the game I play. I do not want to be in the same playing field as others.”

Shahrukh has a soft corner for Salman

Reportedly, during a recent media interaction, Shahrukh expressed his concern over Salman’s health by stating that the news that someone is not doing well upsets him and he hopes that the ‘Dabangg’ Khan gets well soon.

Shahrukh told IANS, "When anyone is unwell, we all feel unhappy. We all feel bad. I always pray that they get well very fast. It's a tougher time for the family than the patient. So I wish Salman a speedy recovery and I wish him all the best. He should come back soon.”

Reportedly, KJo’s imminent movie ‘Student Of The Year’ went on floors yesterday and Shahrukh being the filmmaker’s close buddy as well as the producer of the film, turned up at the mahurat to convey his best wishes to the director and the cast of the film.

Incidentally, the ‘Ra.One’ superhero’s friend turned foe Salman, who was shooting for Aditya Chopra’s upcoming film nearby, also dropped in to convey his best wishes to KJo, with whom he will be teaming up sometime soon.

However, the two actors made sure not to get involved in any ugly spat at the occasion.

Dutt, who has been zeroed in to co-host the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 5’ with Salman, further cleared the airs about his alleged fight with the latter by voicing that if all might not have been well between them, then they wouldn’t have shot together for the promo of the telly series.

Rubbishing the rumors about his clash with Salman, Sanjay told HT, “These reports are rubbish. Salman is my younger brother. After the supposed fight, I shot the Big Boss promo with him. Do you work with someone so coolly after a fight?”

According to sources, Sanjay Dutt, who has been zeroed in to co-host ‘Bigg Boss 5’ with Salman, was so miffed with the latter following the verbal spat at the party organized in his abode that he decided to walk out of the show.

However, when co-host Sallu came to know about this, he immediately called up Sanju and apologized to him for behaving weirdly at his wife’s birthday party.

Shahrukh is a robot—Kunal Kapoor

Comparing Shahrukh with his ‘Ra.One’ character G.One, Kunal said that unlike ordinary human beings who need food and sleep to survive and to stay fit, King Khan only needs to change his batteries to keep working, just like the superhero in his film.

Describing SRK, Kunal, as quoted in the TOI, revealed, "I think his character G one is actually semi autobiographical. While we need sleep and food, he is actually a robot and all he has to do is plug himself in or change his batteries and he is good to go again!”
