After winning several accolades for his enchanting performance in the movie 'Rockstar', the gen next superstar Ranbir Kapoor underwent a minor surgery yesterday morning at Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital.

Ranbir was suffering from a sebaceous gland-related cyst on his back. The operation was long due but the rockstar of our Youngistan kept on postponing it as he was saddled with a very busy schedule.

Imtiaz Ali's 'Rockstar' is a contemporary film that’s a mélange of love, humor, music, drama, and heartbreak. However, the film leaves a lot to be desired, as it loses focus and wanders from topic to topic in an incoherent story.

The film tries to make a disjointed transition between the life of a 'Rockstar' and his love story, but writer-director Imtiaz fails to strike a balance.
