Abhishek to set new trends in B-town

Unlike most Stars, who are deliberately delaying the release of their flicks because of the ongoing World Cup season, junior Bachchan is all set to appear on the silver screen with two films next month.

Apparently, the forthcoming flicks ‘Dum Maro Dum’ and ‘Game,’ both starring Abhishek Bachchan as the protagonist, have been slated for an April release, this year.

By releasing two movies in the same month and year, Abhishek will be changing the conventional mindset of others in the industry.

While this year, Piggy Chops starrer ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Patiala House’ didn’t fare well at the box office, Abhishek is anticipating that his upcoming releases will be well accepted by the movie goers.

Abhishek said, "We can't force you to see our films, we can just excite. Budgets do matter if it is insanely priced. There is no one here to just make money... we are here to make a quality film that everybody is proud of. I hope the films do well.”

Directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Farhan Akthar and Ritesh Sidhwani, ‘Game’ is an action thriller starring Abhishek Bachchan and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles.

The movie is scheduled to release on April 1.

‘Dum Maro Dum’ is an action drama starring Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu in the lead. The movie will be having the much awaited track ‘Dum Maro Dum’ featuring Deepika Padukone.

Directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Ramesh Sippy, the film is slated to hit the silver screen on April 22.
