The latest bloom from Sunshine Pictures Pvt. Ltd., ‘Kucch Luv Jaisaa’ is a sweet and ordinary story that is not nicely packaged to make it a fairly interesting film.

Director Barnali Ray Shukla should have taken quantum care in making a consistent stride in screenplay and dialogues, as it’s disappointing and doesn’t get credit to be neat in packing.

August 20: A heavily drunk man threw himself at Neetu Chandra’s car in Cape Town, South Africa, disturbing her badly.

'Oye Lucky...' to be screened at New York film event

London, June 4: Director Dibakar Banerjee's "Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!" has been selected for screening at an event in New York that celebrates Indian films.

The event, starting Friday, is called The New India. All the screenings will take place at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).

"I'm quite happy that my film is being screened in MoMA which is one of the top four art and culture museums in the world. Also because this is the second time. 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' was screened there in 2007 when the event was called Rising India," Banerjee told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

Big Pictures, the makers of horror flick “13B” are excited these days as a film studio in the U.S. has shown interest in acquiring the rights to remake “13 B” as a Hollywood film.

After going through the synopsis of R. Madhavan and Neetu Chandra starrer “13B”, Hollywood studio Weinstein Company is looking for more information about the film before getting the rights.

A spokesperson from Reliance BIG Pictures confirmed, “Yes, Weinstein Company has indeed shown a keen interest in the film.”
