Bombay Talkies Music Review: A passionate celebration of 100 years of Bollywood

The music album of 'Bombay Talkies' has six tracks, some of which have already got popular. The movie in which Bollywood biggies have joined hands, is a collection of four short stories by eminent directors like Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar, and Zoya Akhtar.

Ranbir wants to do an action film

“I would want to do an out-and-out negative film. I want to play with characters, I want to explore myself. People ask me if I want to do an action film because action films are in vogue. I would definitely do one in some time, but not when it is being followed as a trend,” said the actor.

“I will do it when I feel it is the best time for me to get into such a role,” he added.

Ranbir who is looking forward to the release of his film 'Rockstar' also revealed about the role that he is playing in the film.

“Sikandar”: Soul-stirring music released

BIG Music launched the music of its film “Sikandar” on March 9. Music director of the film, Piyush Jha, described the music of “Sikandar” as “a soul-stirring musical experience”.

The film, set to release on April 24, is a co-production between BIG Pictures, the motion pictures brand from Reliance Big Entertainment Ltd, and Sudhir Mishra’s production house Cine Raas Ltd.

At the music launch, Shankar Mahedvan sang “Dhoop Ke Sikke”, a soulful melody penned by Prasoon Joshi, and Mohit Chauhan got everybody emotional by singing an adaptation of the famous nazm, “Gulon Mein Rang Bhare”, a dedication to Pakistani poet Faiz Ahmed adapted for the film by lyricist Neelesh Misra.
