Producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed, “Yes John has been finalised for the negative role in the film, but we are yet to cast the three female leads.”

The poem will be a song written for Katrina on the lines of her character in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.
Katrina, who is getting busier each day, has her hands full with a couple of projects. Currently the actress is shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s next ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ in Spain.
Interestingly, the film has been quite solid with very strong ticket sales in the overseas market as compared to the domestic box-office.
The powerfully tiresome dialogues does make ‘Raajneeti’ a spoil-sport at times but the ensemble star cast coupled with some riveting scenes is sure to satisfy the movie going public for its blend

'Raajneeti' is about two political parties who follow two different approaches and strategies to survive in the political field.
Writer, director and producer of 'Raajneeti', Prakash Jha, apparently relieved with the clearance, said the film had no relevance with the life of any political leader or party.
However, Katrina’s spokesperson rubbished the rumors saying that she is not planning to turn producer right after the release of 'Raajneeti.'
“I tried to look within and see if I could connect with the character's state of mind,” revealed Katrina.
