Abhishek Bachchan was the initial choice for the role of Lakshman Prasad (Lucky) in the Shahrukh...

The scheduled concert was called off as the hotel had not secured permission for the event and this probably had annoyed Akon's fans.
The infuriated aficionados shouted anti-Akon slogans like ‘Akon sucks’ and ‘we want refund’.
Scuttlebutt has it that the hotel management had cheated the public as they did not have the permission, but still sold the tickets ranging from Rs. 5000-Rs. 10,000 per person.
Hotel management duped people?
Meanwhile, the audience who had assembled at the hotel to hear their favorite crooner, kept waiting for a long time, before the international singer came.
Later, when Akon arrived at the venue, he went away without performing.
A fan from Somalia, who had come especially for the concert, along with nine friends, said, “We spent Rs 5,000 each for the tickets and Rs10,000 for two VIP tickets.”
“The show began at 7.30 pm and the organizers kept assuring us that Akon would come and sing but he did not come till past 10 pm. And when he did, he just cut his birthday cake and walked off. We have been duped.”
Another duo, Sanket Punmiya and Jay Surana said that they had been robbed by the organizers. They said that even Akon was rude to his fans when they asked him to perform.
He rather asked the gathered crowd to attend his Delhi show, if they wanted to hear him.
Organizers to refund the money
Confirming that 1,000 people had come to witness the concert, senior inspector of Mundhwa police station, Devidas Patil said that the government had not accorded permission for the event.
“The organizers had told the police that they would be refunding the money over the next two days at the Mundhwa police station,” said a source.
A spokesperson from Statosphere Entertainment informed, “We will be refunding the money within 12 hours. There were 4-5 outlets selling tickets. People should visit respective outlets where they bought tickets to get the refund.”
