Sanjay Leela Bhansali had written the script of 'Khamoshi' with Amitabh Bachchan in mind.

Contemplating the outcome of '7 Khoon Maaf' and last week released 'Patiala House', it seems that the audience is craving for a big change, from serious genre films to light comedy films.
Latest reports from the Box-Office India revealed that '7 Khoon Maaf' failed to make an impression at the box-office, despite excellent and commendable performance by PC and her seven husbands, Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham, Irrfan Khan, Annu Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Russian actor Aleksandr Dyachenko, and Vivaan Shah, in the film.
The gross collection of the film on Saturday turned out to be 3.35 crore, while on Friday, it was 3.30 crore nett.
Interestingly, this woman-centric film has surpassed last month release 'No One Killed Jessica', in terms of box-office collection.
One of the other reasons for lower response might be the ongoing World Cup in India. However, it's bewildering to see such low performance by the film considering the positive ratings received from the critics.
With such lower response of the film at the box-office, let's see the reaction to the forthcoming release, 'Tanu Weds Manu'.
